Just as I read about Steve Gerber, creator of Howard the Duck among other things, passing away. I got a call from my parents that my uncle Bill had passed away too. He had had a stroke a few years back so it was expected but its still a shock. I'm feeling a bit down.

Girard in the series The Fugitive, and chasing Dr. Richard Kimble, but known best by me as Professor Victor Bergman from the first season of Space: 1999 has passed away at the age of 89. I always liked his very sage like character in Space 1999, very much the scientist and the philosopher always spouting words of wisdom with his techno babble. He will be missed.
