Went to my Uncle Bill's funeral yesterday. Drove to Rockford and met up with my parents and my younger brother Russ. We went to the church and I got to see lots of relatives that I hadn't seen in a long time. The funeral was both a sad and joyful event with many fond remembrances. My cousins Sherri and Karla both stood up and spoke about several of them. My uncle Bill was a quiet man with fun sense of humor. One of the things I remembered was many Christmases ago they gave all us cousins these little transistor radios I kept mine for several years and I kept taking it apart and putting it back together. I'd use this old tube type oscilloscope and check wave patterns and other things on that radio. I'm pretty sure it was what got me interested in electronics in the first place, which later became my job. So in a lot of ways I can thank my uncle Bill for helping me find my career. Thank you uncle Bill.
